This set of cliffs is one of the places in the Algarve that you cannot miss. The natural beauty of these cliffs is, simply, impressive, not in vain it is one of the favorite places of the photographers.

To get to Ponta da Piedade you must leave your car parked in a parking lot in the middle of the countryside. From there you will have to walk and follow the instructions that lead to a jetty where you can rent a boat ride. You can also contemplate the cliff from its base, although you will have to be in good shape, there are almost 200 steps.

Cape San Vicente

Cape San Vicente is one of the most emblematic places in Portugal.  It is located near Sagres and in Roman times it was a place of worship and prayer to the god Saturn, that is why this place was known as the Promontorium Sacrum.

In addition to being a site with exuberant natural beauty, you can also find an old fortress and a lighthouse that dates back to 1525, when it lit up the sea for the first time. From the Cape of San Vicente it is possible to appreciate the ships that move between the Mediterranean and northern Europe. It is, without a doubt, an unforgettable experience that you cannot miss.

In the interior of Tavira there is a wonderful place that surprises with its great natural beauty, it is the Pego do Inferno waterfalls. Although these waterfalls are not the highest in Portugal, they are one of the most beautiful corners of the Algarve.

There are three waterfalls of the peaceful Asseca stream. It is the ideal place to relax and cool off for a while swimming in its waters or, if you are more risky, you can jump from one of the cliffs to fall into the pond, which is approximately five meters deep.

If what you are looking for is a quiet place with little traffic, Castelejo beach is your ideal place. In order to get to this beach you will have to cross a path from Vila do Obispo.

Although access is a bit complicated, it is well worth the effort, since you will find a long and beautiful beach, from where you can enjoy the most incredible views.

From Quatro Águas you must take a boat that will take you to the island of Tavira. There you can find a wide variety of beaches for all tastes. The beaches that are in front of the coast are usually the quietest, on the other hand, those that are on the ocean side are ideal for sports such as windsurfing.
